I have been a sports nut my whole life. Growing up it was always soccer, basketball, and baseball. I tried my hand(s) in football, and now I’m a golf fanatic. Competition has always driven me. I learned when I was at KU in order to stay competitive you had to stay healthy. So I went into Exercise Science and became enamored with the human body. While in school I was in a serious motorcycle accident. Thankfully I survived, but the accident helped shape my practice and philosophy today.

I realized through my recovery process that training was more than how strong, or how ripped, or how athletic you were. Training is about preparing for, protecting, and recovering from the “Game of Life”! So upon graduating I got my certification as a personal trainer through the International Sports & Science Association (ISSA). Since then I have expanded my training knowledge with focus on sports performance (preparing), training for aging adults (protecting), and rehabilitative training (recovery).

My training programs are built on 4 principles of health: Strength, Endurance, Flexibility, and Balance. I feel proper training in these 4 areas will prepare, protect, and when need be help one recover.

I’m also a strong advocate of proper nutrition and it’s key role to a healthy lifestyle. No training program is efficient without an adequate nutrition program to coincide with it. I am a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, and I work with clients to help them navigate the tricky world of diets. In fact I don’t advocate diets with my clients, but instead help each one develop there own “Eatin’ Style”. Learning to eat healthy isn’t about forcing someone to follow certain guidelines. It’s teaching them whats good for them and why. Then helping them make those healthy practices a lifestyle, and not a rule book!

Hello! My name is Rachel Giordono and I’m a Missouri native, CMSU graduate and A.C.E. Certified Personal trainer since 2000. Yes, I’m old and I’ve been doing this a long time! I have two adorably sassy daughters, Lila and Ruby, a whiny yorkie named Rocco, and a fiesty younger man in my life to keep me on my toes!

My passion is fitness and my love is helping people improve the quality of their life! I believe the combination of a healthy whole foods diet, along with a strategic workout plan does create a healthy lifestyle no matter what direction life is pulling you in.

My goal as a trainer is to continually educate and improve myself to share this information with my clients. My intention with each client is to challenge and help them reach their goals. By listening to each individual I’m able to find out where they may need my help the most, through their nutrition, exercise or mind/body. That is the focus of our studio and I’m proud of my husband for pushing us to fulfill our dream!

Hey everyone! My name is Seth Lieser. I am a graduate from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Kinesiology-Health and Fitness where I also played college baseball as a first baseman! Looking back a few years ago I never would have pictured myself wanting to come to work every day in a gym. I HATED working out up until just two years ago! I prayed and prayed for some sort of guidance and I am beyond excited to say that I am finally where I want to be.

Like Rachel, I actually lost weight in college because I was eating healthy and exercising! Seeing the incredible results only fueled my love and drive for fitness. As my love continued to grow, I was lucky to meet Anthony and Rachel through my Father. They are some of my closest friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Becoming NASM Certified in 2015 has helped me to focus my training on stability/balance, strength, endurance, and power. I am a by-the-book guy because why do something if you aren’t going to do it the right way? My programs specialize in weight loss, sports training, strength training, and youth fitness. My workouts are exciting, fun, and focused targeting YOUR goals, not mine. I am absolutely thrilled that I am able to combine my love for helping others with my passion for health and fitness!
