Personal Training ~ Nutrition ~ Mind+Body 

 

We are a husband and wife team whose focus is helping clients enjoy the “journey of life” by putting health at the top of their priority list. The idea for Compound Health and Fitness came from the fact we wanted to help people do more than just exercise to stay healthy. We wanted to educate, and demonstrate how these same individuals can strive to be healthier every day by coaching and implementing the habits needed for long-term health. Compound Health and Fitness is driven to transform people’s lives through a complete and total package, and that’s what we are doing by going beyond the exercise. 

 

Our healthy living philosophy is built upon the appropriate balance of EXERCISENUTRITION, and MIND+BODY awareness.

  • Our exercise programs focus on 4 principals: Strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. These principals establish a foundation to build a body that will withstand the test of time. Through fun, personal, and effective training programs, we coach you to gain strength, build endurance, establish balance, and maintain flexibility.
  • Our nutrition programs are designed to help clients build a healthy relationship with food. Done through hands on coaching sessions, cooking classes, and educational workshops our clients will learn to develop their own “Eating Style” that promotes health and longevity.
  • Mind+Body work is as important for health programs as is exercise and nutrition. Proper recovery helps in all phases of life and our yoga classes, stretch series, and restorative/recovery classes are just the right thing. Our habit coaching programs implement strategies proven to shift your mindset to a positive one that eliminates stress, heals and protects the body from illness and disease.

 

We really do consider our clients like family, and we always feel like the gym is our home. For this reason we get away from the idea of a gym being only where you workout. Our studio will be your next health home. We have a sit-in kitchen where you can chat and grab a smoothie post-workout. A lounge room to chat with your friends about the new healthy habit you’ve adopted. We also provide personal lockers and have 2 private shower stalls for those needing to clean up before or heading back to work. Come see us at our location in Overland Park inside the LaPaloma Plaza center.
